Jamia Riyadhul Jannah, Saskatoon was established in July 2015 under the guidance of Imam Professor Syed Badiuddin Soharwardy. It and all its affiliates adhere to the creed of Ahlus-Sunnah wal-Jama'ah following the traditions of A'la Hazrat Imam Ahmed Raza Khan (Rahmatullah Alaih) and Hazrat Allama Syed Muhammad Riyazuddin Soharwardy (Rahmatullah Alaih).

ISCC Prays for Humboldt Broncos

The members and the executive council of the Islamic Supreme Council of Canada (ISCC) are saddened by yesterday’s tragic accident in Saskatchewan in which 14 young Canadian hockey players were killed and 14 were injured. This tragedy has touched every Canadian’s heart.


“Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families. The loss of such young lives is very painful and heartbreaking.”, said Imam Syed Soharwardy, the founder of ISCC.

Islamic Supreme Council of Canada and Muslim Council of Saskatchewan will be holding two prayer services for the victims today.

  • First prayer service will be held at 8:00 PM at the Jamia Riyadhul Jannah Saskatoon, 2233 Hanselman Avenue, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan
  • Second prayer service will be held today at 7:00 PM at the Genesis Centre, 800 East Lake Blvd NE, Airdrie.

8th Eid Milad Un Nabi (PBUH) was celebrated on January 20, 2018 in Jamia Riyadhul Jannah Saskatoon. Our special guests were world renowned Naat Khawan Fasih Uddin Soharwardy from Pakistan and famous scholar from UK, Hazrat Imam Asim Hussain.

We are also thankful to Mayor of City of Saskatoon Honorable Mr. Charlie Clark and Mr. David Buckingham (MLA Saskatoon Westview) who specially came for this event.
